When I first started my travel business, I went with a host travel agency that included thousands of travel agents. I felt lost in the numbers and had to wait days to get answers. I noticed that most of the travel agents were working full-time and barely making part-time pay.
I felt discouraged, and scared, but I also knew that it wasn't the place for me. After a tedious 18 month search for an authentic place to grow, and coming up with nothing, I founded Life is Better Traveling. Life is Better Traveling is a home more than a host for travel agents to grow their businesses. We work as a team, and put together resources that you can implement into your travel business on day 1. We value our agents through rewards programs and give them amazing opportunities to build a business and earn an income they desire.
Today our team is comprised of travel agents across the United States. They are supported with training, education, and motivation. Together we have achieved big goals, grown our businesses, and have been recognized with multiple industry awards. - organizational skills that allow them to multi-task
- social media presence on various channels
- tech savvy with an understanding of various applications
- sales experience, yes, this is more of a sale position than a travel position
- personable with self-motivation, talking on the phone or attending networking events is a great way to get new clients
- time to dedicate towards building your travel business. Our most successful agents will put in up to 20+ hours per week
- desire to learn from others and be willing to learn on your own
- travel experience regardless of where you have traveled, you will have to have a passion to travel and experience new places

Competitive Commission Levels
Build your travel business with the commissions you earn! Our travel agents are able to accelerate their travel businesses with our high commission splits, going up to 85%. Your sales performance and accomplishments are rewarded through our tangible, tiered commission levels. Commission payouts every two weeks. Commissions are paid after the supplier has paid to the travel agency but after trip has ended.

Leads program and opportunities
Generate new, viable leads with a smart designed Leads program allowing you to showcase your skills and versatility as a travel professional while pinpointing your target market.
FAM trips and conferences, oh my! We encourage our team to take as many FAM trips as they can, and to try to attend both travel industry conferences and non-travel industry conferences. We also do quarterly team building exercises giving our agents the ability to win park tickets, higher commission tiers on bookings, reimbursement for FAM trips and conferences, and gift cards.
