I personally like to call them floating cities because their lights are so bright and it feels like the ship never sleeps with continuous entertainment and food around every corner. Like anything that has bright shiny lights, there are a few things to consider.
Pros:

- Luxurious Accommodations: Indulge in spacious, beautifully designed staterooms and suites fit for royalty.
- Diverse Dining Options: Taste the world with a variety of international cuisines available at specialty restaurants.
- Innovative Amenities: Experience cutting edge technology and modern conveniences throughout the ship.
- Stunning Destinations: Visit multiple breathtaking destinations in one trip, waking up to a new view each day.
Cons:
- Higher Costs: Bigger ship, bigger budget! Keep in mind potential additional costs for premium experiences.
- Crowded Spaces: With more guests on board, communal areas can become bustling, especially during peak hours.
- Navigation: The size of these ships may make it challenging to get from one end to the other quickly—wear comfy shoes!
- Port Accessibility: Some ports of call may not accommodate larger ships, potentially limiting docking options.
- Booking Complexity: With so many options, planning excursions and dining can be a bit overwhelming.
What I love about cruising is that even though these ships are amazing, there are many other ships out there that might be a better fit for your needs. That is one of the reasons I love cruising because there seems to be a ship that fits everyone’s needs for that vacation. Whether you want to take a multi-generational trip and a large ship would be perfect, or an adult only getaway with absolutely no kids, there is a ship for that too!
